I was shaking in my sneaks here. So nervous!
This is a great pic(thanks Ron) of the large crowd of runners...and this isnt even everyone.

All done and home...Here is a video that will give you an idea of just how many people were running this race(about 2100 or so I think).
For those of you who have done 5k's are most of them like this???

Congrats!! I was in awe of myself when I ran my first 5k. I couldn't believe I did something like that! You should be so proud of yourself!

I walked two 5 k's, they looked just like that. When I saw the video I got all choked up and teary. I not understanding that. Anyway, my daughter and I are doing a 10k walk on 10/24/10. We are going to try to run part of the way. Can't wait!

Joy- I get choked up and teary when I look at the pics and video too. and being there was even worse! It was like surreal being part of such an amazing cause. So many people getting together to push for the same thing...a cure. I got choked up a few times when running too!!! Good luck on your 10k! You will do great and I cant wait to hear about it!
The pictures came out great! I do all events! You were running so fast. I was trying to do a frame by frame of you finishing but the camera could not handle it:-)

Yey! Great job! I can't believe all the people. That is so cool that that many people were there for such a great cause....and most important you were there too for that same cause and you completed the run! Woo Hoo!!

Loved the pictures! So glad you did it! My kids have a 5K this Saturday, the little one is doing the 1K but hopefully he'll do the 5K next year. Good for you!
